Posted · Add Comment

A recent post included a summary of the tax reform framework released by the Trump administration and Congressional GOP leadership on September 27. This framework, which calls for dramatic tax cuts and simplification for individual taxpayers along with significant changes for business taxpayers, is designed to serve as a template for Congress to develop legislation through the committee process.

Wolters Kluwer, a company that offers information, software and support for professional service providers, including the legal and accounting professions, has released additional analysis of the proposed tax plan. The Wolters Kluwer tax briefing presents a high-level overview of the GOP framework and offers some initial perspective on the projected impact of the changes. Please consider this release as a supplement to the information previously provided.
