Mark joined the firm in 2000, following his graduation from Grove City College. Over the course of his career, Mark has served clients well, providing effective and responsive professional services. His expertise includes performing audits and reviews, providing merger and acquisition services, conducting fraud investigations, and delivering other specialized consulting services to clients in a wide range of industries. Mark works with a variety of stakeholders and ownership groups including privately-held companies, private equity investors, foreign-owned entities, trustees of multi-employer benefit plans, and not-for-profit organizations.
A leader in the firm’s M&A and employee benefit practice areas, Mark enjoys complex accounting and financial matters that require research, analysis and clear communication. He is committed to providing insightful, value-added services tailored for specific needs. Mark is a regular speaker at firm-sponsored seminars and serves as a delegate at conferences for Geneva Group International (GGI), a global alliance of well-established and experienced accounting, consulting and law firms.
Mark is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the AICPA and PICPA. Outside of the office, Mark and his wife, Judi, are committed to serving and supporting charitable and faith-based organizations, including Bethany Presbyterian Church, where Mark has served as Treasurer since 2003. Mark and Judi are long-time residents of South Fayette Township and proud parents of four children, Ami Layne, Dean, J.J. and Millie.
