GYF’s Business Valuation & Litigation Support Services Group continues to monitor economic conditions. The U.S. economy remained resilient as of September 30, 2026, supported by positive GDP growth, stable employment conditions, ongoing business investment, and continued expansion in the manufacturing sector. Inflation remains above the Federal Reserve’s long-term target, with CPI increasing year-over-year in September 2026, prompting the Federal Reserve to maintain a relatively restrictive monetary policy stance.
Despite generally healthy labor market conditions, job growth has moderated, consumer sentiment has weakened, and businesses continue to face uncertainty from tariffs, elevated energy costs, geopolitical conflicts, and renewed supply chain pressures. At the same time, investment in artificial intelligence and technology is supporting productivity gains, business transformation, and capital spending.
Looking ahead, the Federal Reserve projects moderate GDP growth, stable, and a gradual decline in inflation over the coming years. Overall, the economic outlook reflects a soft-landing scenario characterized by continued growth and stable employment, although risks from inflation, trade policy, and global geopolitical developments remain.
