GYF Adds Two New Partners

Megan R. Troxell, CPA – Partner, A&A Services Group

Megan joined Grossman Yanak & Ford LLP in 2003 following her graduation from Grove City College. She has over 18 years of experience in public accounting. She specializes in providing audit and accounting services for privately held manufacturing and construction companies, and nonprofit organizations. She is a CPA in the State of Pennsylvania and was honored by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants for her contributions to the accounting profession, being named as one of four “PICPA Women to Watch” in 2020.

Megan is a graduate of the Leadership Development Initiative (LDI-XVI), a Leadership Pittsburgh program that trains young leaders to effect positive future change in the region. She is a respected mentor for newer professionals at GYF. Committed to community service, Megan volunteers for several not-for-profit organizations. She is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for George Junior Republic and Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee. Megan also serves on the Board of Directors of Family Guidance and as Treasurer for Community Bible Study, Pittsburgh-West, and is an active volunteer at her children’s school. She resides in Ben Avon with her husband, Nathan, and sons, Alex and Andrew.


 

Michael E. Weber, CPA, JD – Partner, Tax  Services Group

Michael joined the Firm in 2012, bringing over 11 years of professional experience, including 10 in public accounting. His responsibilities primarily include the provision of tax compliance, planning and research services for corporations, S corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and not-for-profit organizations, as well as individuals. Michael has provided services for both domestic and international clients. He also assists new entities with formation, planning and tax compliance matters. His principal clients include manufacturing, real estate and service companies. 

An alumnus of Duquesne University, Michael earned his B.S./B.A. in Accounting in 2007 and his J.D. from the University’s School of Law in 2011. He is both a CPA and a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Michael is also a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh’s Leadership Development Initiative (LDI-XXVI), a selective program to develop the city’s future professional leaders. Michael is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and belongs to the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA), for which he was the Tax Section past president and a member of the Young Lawyers Division. He lives in Pittsburgh’s South Hills with his wife, Jill, and their daughter, Landy.
