GYF is pleased to announce that Kathryn L. Claudy, an associate in the firm’s Assurance and Advisory Services Group, was one of the top 75 scorers in the nation out of more than 93,742 candidates who successfully passed the Uniform CPA exam in 2015.
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) has honored with the Elijah Watt Sells Award, an award given to candidates who earned a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Exam and all four sections must have been taken in 2015. The award was established in 1923 to recognize outstanding performance on the CPA Exam.
Claudy, a 2015 graduate of Grove City College, began her accounting career with Grossman Yanak & Ford LLP, where she had previously served as a summer intern. Claudy specializes in providing assurance services, including audits and reviews, for a wide range of businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Grossman Yanak & Ford LLP provides assurance and advisory, tax planning and compliance, business valuation, and ERP solutions services. Management consulting services are also offered to assist clients in specialized areas. The 25-year-old firm is led by six partners and employs approximately 55 professionals who serve individuals as well as corporate and not-for-profit entities.
