Melissa A. Bizyak, CPA/ABV/CFF, CVA
Partner – Business Valuation & Litigation Support Services
Melissa, who joined GYF in 1997, leads the firm’s Business Valuation & Litigation Support Services Group. She has practiced in public accounting for nearly 30 years and has significant experience in providing business valuation services for privately-held concerns and their owners.
Melissa’s business valuation experience is diverse, with clients including both private and publicly-held companies in a wide variety of industries. She has performed valuations for various purposes such as shareholder buyouts, financial reporting, equitable distribution, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), value enhancement, and gift and estate tax strategies. Melissa also provides litigation support services, including expert witness testimony.

Jeffrey A. Ford, CPA, MBA
Partner – Audit & Assurance Services and ERP Solutions
Jeff is one of the three partners who founded the firm in 1990. He has focused his career on providing accounting, auditing and consulting services to privately held companies and not-for-profit entities. Jeff also serves in leadership positions for several professional organizations.
Jeff has 40 years of experience in public accounting and technology consulting. His experience includes furnishing compliance services such as audits and reviews; due diligence and investigation services related to business mergers and acquisitions; fraud investigations; developing and compiling projected and forecasted financial statements; and evaluating, selecting and implementing technology systems for companies in the wholesale, distribution, service, manufacturing, construction and not-for-profit industries.
Jeff’s experience includes significant advisory and accounting services related to business acquisitions and sales. In this arena, he has assisted numerous companies with due diligence, structuring transactions, transition consulting and dispute resolution. Jeff has served a variety of ownership groups including public and private companies, private equity groups and foreign investors. He has provided expert testimony and services related to litigation support, arbitration and mediation in connection with business acquisitions, contract disputes and certain bankruptcy matters.

Retired - Of Counsel
Bob, one of the firm’s founding partners, spent over 40 years practicing in public accounting, specializing in tax and valuation issues that affect businesses as well as their stakeholders and owners.
Bob served clients in the firm’s Tax and Business Valuation Groups. The breadth of his involvement encompassed the development and implementation of innovative business and financial strategies designed to minimize taxation and maximize owner wealth. Through the course of his career, Bob rose to a level of national prominence in the business valuation arena.

Donald S. Johnston, CPA, MST
Partner – Tax Services
Don joined the firm in 1993, and has over 30 years of public accounting experience. He has spent the majority of his career serving the tax and consulting needs of privately-held companies and their owners. Don also has expertise with issues related to business entity formation, transactions and exit planning.
Don handles tax planning and compliance-related issues for all types of entities, including corporations, LLCs and partnerships, for a wide base of clientele, ranging from small start-up organizations in the early development stages to large, billion-dollar entities in need of technical expertise.
His broad range of experience encompasses many industries, including manufacturing, nuclear energy and mining. Don also has extensive experience working with distribution entities and has devised tax-savings strategies for income, franchise and other business-related taxes for numerous middle market clients.
Additionally, Don’s background allows him to assist individuals and businesses in determining advantageous strategies for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. His skills have been utilized for special projects in various areas of expertise, including: acquisition planning and due diligence, Section 338(h)(10) acquisition work; stock vs. asset sale analyses for acquisition and/or disposition scenarios; development of strategies to reduce state tax obligations of multi-state entities; complex valuation-related issues; and other tax concerns for individual clients.

Megan R. Troxell, CPA
Partner – Audit & Assurance Services
Megan not only provides excellent professional service to the firm’s clients, but also contributes significant time and expertise to serving her community. She is a valued coach and mentor for newer CPAs at the firm and for developing professionals in the organizations for which she volunteers. In 2020, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) named her as a “Women to Watch,” in recognition of her commitment to the profession.
Megan has 20 years of experience in public accounting. She specializes in providing audit and accounting services for privately-held manufacturing, construction and oil and gas support companies, as well as nonprofit organizations, including educational institutions. Her responsibilities also include due diligence work relating to acquisitions.

Michael E. Weber, CPA, JD
Partner – Tax Services
As both an accountant and an attorney, Michael provides valuable expertise to the clients he serves in a variety of industries. He specializes in providing tax planning and compliance services as well as assistance related to the formation of new entities. Michael also helps corporate and individual clients to address international tax issues.
Michael has nearly 15 years of professional experience. His responsibilities primarily include the provision of tax compliance, planning and research services for corporations, S corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and not-for-profit organizations, as well as individuals.
He has provided tax services for both domestic and international clients. His principal clients include manufacturing, real estate and service-oriented companies. He also assists new entities with their formation, planning and tax compliance matters.

Mark D. Wolstoncroft, CPA
Partner – Audit & Assurance Services
Mark joined the firm in 2000, and was named as a partner in 2019. His experience includes performing audits and reviews, conducting fraud investigations, and delivering other specialized consulting services to clients in a wide range of industries. He also has expertise with merger and acquisition transactions and employee benefit plans.
Mark focuses on serving privately-held companies, employee benefit plans and not-for-profit organizations by providing effective and responsive professional services. He has served a variety of stakeholders and ownership groups including privately-held companies, private equity investors, foreign-owned entities, trustees of multi-employer benefit plans and not-for-profit organizations across a wide range of industries.
A leader in the firm’s M&A and employee benefit and practice areas, Mark enjoys complex accounting and financial matters that require research, analysis and clear communication. He is committed to providing insightful, value-added services tailored for specific client needs and circumstances. He is experienced with matters such as quality of earning analyses, purchase accounting, GAAP-to-IFRS conversions, hedge accounting and accounting record reconstruction.

John M. Yanak, CPA, MBA
Partner – Audit & Assurance Services
John is one of GYF’s founding partners and serves as the managing partner for the firm. He has more than 40 years of experience providing audit, accounting and consulting services. John’s expertise also includes significant transaction work in both the buy and sell arenas as well as specialized services for employee benefit plans.
John has spent more than four decades serving the audit and accounting needs of privately-held businesses and not-for-profit organizations, including educational institutions, trade associations and community service groups. He has also assisted private equity groups and corporate entities with due diligence and structuring decisions, guiding efforts to achieve desired tax efficiencies that help reduce the cost of a transaction. In addition, he helps companies interpret the financial reporting requirements associated with M&A transactions.
John has served as an acting chief financial officer for companies during the closing of offices or operations and during periods of difficulty when the companies required expertise above that available in their own organizations. He has also assisted a number of companies through workouts and reorganizations, including formal proceedings under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and has helped clients to obtain financing and negotiate with lenders.

Rick is well-known to GYF’s clients, having served their tax needs for nearly three decades. His expertise includes the development and implementation of innovative business tax structures. He also utilizes his skills and knowledge to apply personal financial planning strategies to minimize the overall effect of income, excise, sales and estate and gift taxes.
Rick has over 30 years of experience in financial services and public accounting. He specializes in providing tax planning and tax compliance expertise for publicly and privately held companies and their owners. Rick spends considerable time handling consolidated return issues also has expertise assisting not-for-profit organizations with their tax matters.
Jason P. Hardy, CPA
Director – Audit & Assurance Services
Jason has nearly two decades of experience in public accounting, specializing in providing audit services for a wide range of businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Jason also has extensive experience providing due diligence and performing quality of earnings services in both sell-side and buy-side situations.
Jason joined GYF in 2006, and during his tenure with the firm, has focused his expertise on providing financial statement services for our clients. He also has specialized expertise in performing pension plan audits and a long history working with benefit plans and health insurance purchasing cooperatives.

Angela C. McCoy
Director – ERP Solutions Group
Angie has over 20 years of professional experience. Her ability to interpret a wide range of complex business processes, along with her extensive knowledge of ERP/Financials is the winning combination needed to provide exceptional insight into improving clients’ business processes and software-driven workflow requirements.
As Senior Manager of the GYF ERP Solutions Group, Angie leads the efforts to help clients choose and implement a best-fit ERP/Financial software solution. The ERP Solutions Group is a channel partner for industry-leading software vendor, NetSuite.
Angie joined GYF in 2014 with more than 15 years of experience in distribution and logistics software and related technology. Throughout her career, Angie was committed to both business development and client satisfaction through varying roles including Client Trainer, Systems Analyst, Project Manager, Sales Support and, ultimately, Director of R&D and world-wide support. Through these experiences Angie developed the critical skills necessary to understand the unique requirements of various industries.

Robin M. Ryan, CPA

Robin has served GYF’s clients for over two decades. She is committed to building lasting relationships in addition to providing high-quality professional services. Robin is also dedicated to helping her colleagues, serving as the firm’s CPE coordinator and as a mentor for younger accountants. Senior Manager – Audit & Assurance Services
Eric has 12 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in providing assurance services to private companies and nonprofit organizations across multiple industries. He also has expertise in employee benefit plan audit services (including multiemployer plans), M&A due diligence, consolidations and contract accounting.
Eric also serves as an accounting and business consultant to various start-ups and small businesses in the Pittsburgh region. His experience in public accounting has enabled Eric to better assist these companies with the various challenges they face including capital investment strategies, cash flow maintenance and operational improvements. Eric also has prior experience with individual and small business tax services as well as internal audit services related to SOX compliance.

Christopher G. Breisinger, CPA

Chris has significant experience working with nonprofit entities and companies in the real estate, construction, manufacturing industries. He also specializes in performing audits of health and welfare benefit plans as well as defined contribution benefit plans.
Jordan D. Curry
Senior Manager – ERP Solutions Group
Jordan combines his accounting background and technology expertise to serve the clients of the GYF ERP Solutions Group. He works directly with clients to improve business processes, train users on their ERP systems, and help them to maximize their technology investments.
Before joining GYF in 2017, Jordan had experience with NetSuite from a user’s perspective, primarily from Controller/Accounting roles. He has worked with light manufacturing, distribution, non-profit, and service-oriented businesses.
Jordan currently works within NetSuite in the following areas: reporting/saved searches, custom workflows, fixed assets, procure to pay, order to cash, and revenue recognition.

Emily S. Dawes, CPA
Manager – ERP Solutions Group
Emily utilizes her background in accounting and business management to serve clients of the GYF ERP Solutions group, with a focus on providing support for technology/software implementations.
Emily began her career with Grossman Yanak & Ford LLP in 2019 as a summer intern and joined the firm’s ERP Solutions Group on a full-time-basis in July 2020. Prior to joining GYF, Emily also had experience performing auditing and attest services and working in development services at a nonprofit.
Emily is a NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant, NetSuite Certified Administrator, NetSuite Certified SuiteAnalytics User, and NetSuite Certified SuiteFoundations User.

Austin has served and worked in the Assurance & Advisory Group since 2018. His dedication to understand businesses and processes has equipped him in becoming particularly proficient in the approach and set up of new audit service opportunities. His relational disposition drives his excellent client service.
Austin serves clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, technology, and not-for-profit entities, among others. In addition to client service, he assists in the firm’s technology initiatives, which has included leading the evaluation and implementation of Inflo, a digital audit tool that significantly enhanced client experience and audit efficiency through streamlining and strengthening the audit collaboration process.

Rebekah A. Flanders, CPA

Rebekah has two decades of public accounting experience. Before re-joining the GYF Tax Services Group in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, she previously worked at the Firm for 10 years. She also has seven years of experience providing tax and audit services at other regional accounting firms.
Rebekah focuses on providing tax compliance, planning and research services for individuals and various types of business entities, including publicly and privately held companies. She also has significant experience with multi-state tax planning and compliance projects.

Ryan serves a variety of clients, including corporations, partnerships, S corporations, limited liability companies and individual taxpayers. He has experience working with both publicly and privately held companies in various industries, including those operating in multiple states.

Mark S. Kreminski
Manager, NetSuite Support – ERP Solutions Group
Mark has nearly 20 years of experience working as a software architect and developer, including 15 years of expertise with NetSuite ERP solutions.
Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Mark helped manage the business systems, including NetSuite ERP, for a technology company. In his role with the GYF ERP Solutions Group, he will utilize this experience as a user and administrator to help organizations maximize the benefits of their technology investments to automate business processes, increase efficiency, develop custom solutions.
Additionally, Mark will oversee and manage internal support and development to help the GYF ERP Solutions Group to better serve clients. He will also continue to serve in a leadership role in the Pittsburgh NetSuite User Group (PittNUG).

Brad W. Matthews, CPA/ABV, CVA
Senior Manager – Business Valuation & Litigation Support Services
Brad has practiced in public accounting since 2011, providing business valuation and appraisal services as well as litigation support services in disputes. Brad has served privately-held concerns and their owners in many industries.
Brad has played a significant role in providing business valuation services for a range of purposes, which include: gift and estate tax planning for taxpayers and estates; the formation of or annual administrative valuations related to Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs); shareholder disputes and resolutions; marital dissolutions; financial and tax reporting, buy/sell transactions and consulting; and general business planning. Further, his litigation support experience includes the determination of lost profits and economic damages arising from various disputes, financial forensic analysis; and lost value determinations.

Daniel V. Milcic, CPA

Dan has five years of experience in public accounting and takes pride delivering a high level of client service. He enjoys working with internal and external personnel to drive audit quality and results.
After graduating from college in 2018, Dan worked for three years at a “Big Four” firm. Since joining GYF in 2021, he has assisted with the implementation of new technology resources at the firm, including Inflo, a collaboration and document sharing tool. He serves the firm’s A&A clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, medical devices, aviation and not-for-profit.

Emily joined the firm full-time in 2015 after serving as a GYF intern the summer before. She focuses on providing assurance services for a variety of clients and has taken on additional roles and responsibilities in the A&A Group during her career.
Emily has nine years of experience in public accounting. She specializes in providing audit and financial statement services, serving clients in varied industries including manufacturers and not-for-profit organizations. She also has expertise in performing single audits and audits of defined contribution employee benefit plans.

Daniel W. Oberst, CPA, MST

Dan has served GYF tax clients in various capacities since he joined the firm in 2014. Dan specializes in providing tax compliance and tax research services to business clients organized as corporations, S Corporations, and partnerships operating primarily in the manufacturing and service industries.
Dan has 10 years of tax experience in public accounting. At GYF, he serves clients that operate in many states throughout the country, providing assistance with state compliance needs and nexus determinations. Dan also often engages in special project work, providing fixed asset analysis and handling a variety of state tax issues and assists clients with quarterly and annual tax projections, estimated tax payment calculations, and tax distribution calculations.

James F. O’Mara, CPA
Senior Manager – ERP Solutions Group
Jim combines his accounting background and technology experience to serve clients, with a focus on providing support for implementations of NetSuite ERP solutions. He works directly with GYF’s clients to improve businesses processes, train users, and help organizations to maximize their technology investments.
Prior to joining the GYF ERP Solutions Group in 2018, Jim worked in professional services at an international public accounting firm, and at Fortune 500 companies in the Pittsburgh area within the manufacturing and pharmaceuticals industries. He brings a cross-functional background stemming from his experience in the areas of Audit and Assurance, Management Consulting, Systems Implementations, and Process Improvement.
Each NetSuite implementation can be customized to utilize the modules and other features to meet the needs of the individual client. Jim has experience implementing NetSuite systems and working with industry-specific functionality, including project management, reporting/saved searches, procure to pay, and order to cash.

Kelley G. O'Neil, CPA
Manager – Tax Services Group
Kelley has 25+ years of experience providing tax planning, compliance and accounting services with regional public accounting firms. She enjoys opportunities to collaborate with clients and embraces the challenges of resolving long-term issues and influencing revenue-positive outcomes.
Kelley has served individual taxpayers along with a variety of entities, including C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, LLCs and not-for-profit organizations. She has worked with privately held companies in diverse industries including health care, real estate, construction, manufacturing, retail and professional services.
Her expertise includes performing tax work and financial statement services for consolidated and multi-entity companies as well as serving businesses that operate in multiple cities and states. She specializes in strategic planning and analysis to realize increased cash flow with decreased costs.

Amber joined the firm full-time in 2013 after serving as a GYF intern the summer before. Over her career, she has been dedicated to continually expanding her knowledge and client responsibilities. Amber provides a range of assurance services, including employee benefit plan audits. She also serves as a coach for newer GYF professionals.
Amber has more than a decade of experience in public accounting. She specializes in providing assurance services for a variety of clients including manufacturers and not-for-profit organizations. She also has significant experience in business acquisition transaction work and performing employee benefit plan audits.

Joe has eight years of public accounting experience, providing tax compliance, planning, and other accounting advisory services for various business entities and their owners. Joe serves a range of clients including corporations, S corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and individuals.
Since joining GYF in 2019, Joe has served corporate and individual clients in the GYF Tax Services Group. His specialty focus has been on closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
Joe has experience providing client services within the manufacturing, professional services, restaurant and real estate industries. In addition to tax compliance, he often engages in various special project work including fixed asset depreciation analyses, quarterly and annual tax projections, state sales tax issues and various payroll tax assistance.

Lisa M. Wiegand, CPA
Senior Manager – Tax Services
Lisa has more than 15 years of public accounting experience, specializing in tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships. She strives to offer exceptional services including compliance, planning, and research to become a trusted advisor to her clients. Lisa makes every effort to stay informed on tax law changes to assist her clients with staying compliant while also identifying ways to take advantage of tax benefits.
Over the course of her career, Lisa has served companies in a wide range of industries including professional services, supply chain solutions, healthcare, restaurants, and real estate. The organizations she has served range in size from a small, local family business to multimillion-dollar revenue companies operating in multiple states. Lisa believes that every client deserves the best possible client experience and enjoys making connections with her clients. She joined the GYF Tax Services team in 2023.
